YANING Releases Class A Fire Rated Hermetic Sliding Door for Hospital Operating Rooms

YANING has released model YN-HD-FA200, an automatic hermetic sliding door that carries a Class A fire rating while maintaining the airtight seal required by operating theatre pressure regimes. The door pairs a 2 mm steel leaf with a fire resistant core and a perimeter gasket, allowing one product to satisfy both fire compartmentation and cleanliness requirements.

One Door for Two Compliance Requirements

Operating theatre doors are usually specified twice on a hospital project: once by the fire consultant for compartmentation, and once by the cleanroom contractor for airtightness. Specifying two separate products creates coordination risk at the interface and often produces a door that leaks air around a seal designed only for smoke control. The YN-HD-FA200 addresses both duties in a single leaf and slide assembly.

Visual options include a double glazed observation window measuring 400 by 600 mm, and surfaces are offered in SS304 stainless steel or antibacterial powder coating in colours matched to the wall panel system.
